By the late sixties the S2 E-Type was in production with its revised styling and lights. The slim indicators had been replaced with these inelegant solutions and gradually the purity of line was disappearing as a sop to safety legislation from the US. By the time the flabby S3 came along the E was a totally different beast to the 3.8 original. This is a very nicely presented S2 sat on wire wheels and the full length roof gives some wind in the hair motoring without the downsides of owning a full convertible.
