The Fiat shown below is in restored condition. This X19 is Gulf colours, and is a 2 seater of the type popular in the 1970s era.

The X1/9 was a nifty rear engined 2 seater sportscar built to take on the ageing sportscars offered by British Leyland and others in the seventies. With its removeable targa roof panel it offered wind-in-the-remaining-hair motoring without the drawbacks of having a tatty hood leaking in everywhere.
