1965 Ford racing car seen at the 2004 Goodwood Revival
This is one of 170+ images of classic cars and aircraft that I took at the September 2004 Circuit Revival meeting at Goodwood, in Sussex.

The restored Ford below was photographed over the 3 day weekend at Goodwood. This red GT40 is a racing car of the type often seen at motor racing meets and events in years gone by, this particular Ford racing car dating back to the 1965 era. Such cars
would have appeared in racing car races at motorsport meetings, such as those at Goodwood.

A lineup of GT40s. Ford set out to beat Ferrari following a failed take-over in the sixties. The GT40 wiped the floor with all its opposition after a few attempts at the Le Mans 24 Hours.
