Ferrari 250 GTO

1963 Ferrari racing car seen at the 2004 Goodwood Revival

This is one of 170+ images of classic cars and aircraft that I took at the September 2004 Circuit Revival meeting at Goodwood, in Sussex.
[Index of Goodwood images]

The restored Ferrari below was photographed over the 3 day weekend at Goodwood. This red 250 GTO is a racing car of the type often seen at motor racing meets and events in years gone by, this particular Ferrari racing car dating back to the 1963 era. Such cars would have appeared in racing car races at motorsport meetings, such as those at Goodwood.

You'll find many more restored vehicles similar to this Ferrari 250 GTO elsewhere on Classic Wheels, just have a look at the left hand menu. If you are a collector of Ferrari 250 GTO information, or are looking for parts for a 1963 Ferrari, see the list of related memorabilia on sale today at the ebay auction site - click here to have a look at the 250 GTO items for sale right now.

The picture below of a red 250 GTO is photo #44 in this set of photographs taken at the 2004 Revival. You can read more about the event here: Goodwood review.

Further notes on this classic 250 GTO:

This is the slightly later style of GTO bodywork which replaced the earlier (prettier) GTO coachwork.
