Aston Martin DBR1
1957 Aston Martin racing car seen at the 2004 Goodwood Revival
This is one of 170+ images of classic cars and aircraft that I took at the September 2004 Circuit Revival meeting at Goodwood, in Sussex.
[Index of Goodwood images]
The restored Aston Martin below was photographed over the 3 day weekend at Goodwood. This light green DBR1 is a racing car of the type often seen at motor racing meets and events in years gone by, this particular Aston Martin racing car dating back to the 1957 era. Such cars
would have appeared in racing car races at motorsport meetings, such as those at Goodwood.
You'll find many more restored vehicles similar to this Aston Martin DBR1 elsewhere on Classic Wheels, just have a look at the left hand menu.
If you are a collector of Aston Martin DBR1 information, or are looking for parts for a 1957 Aston Martin, see the list of related memorabilia on sale today at the ebay auction site - click here

The picture below of a light green DBR1 is photo #23 in this set of photographs taken at the 2004 Revival. You can read more about the event here: Goodwood review.
Further notes on this classic DBR1:
The DBR1 saw plenty of success in the late 1950s flying the flag for Britain. It is often driven nowadays in historic events by the often-sideways Peter Hardman.
