Alfa Romeo 8C 2300 Monza
1931 Alfa Romeo racing car seen at the 2004 Goodwood Revival
This is one of 170+ images of classic cars and aircraft that I took at the September 2004 Circuit Revival meeting at Goodwood, in Sussex.
[Index of Goodwood images]
The restored Alfa Romeo below was photographed over the 3 day weekend at Goodwood. This red 8C 2300 Monza is a racing car of the type often seen at motor racing meets and events in years gone by, this particular Alfa Romeo racing car dating back to the 1931 era. Such cars
would have appeared in racing car races at motorsport meetings, such as those at Goodwood.
You'll find many more restored vehicles similar to this Alfa Romeo 8C 2300 Monza elsewhere on Classic Wheels, just have a look at the left hand menu.

Further notes on this classic 8C 2300 Monza:
Perhaps one of the best looking (and sounding) pre-war grand prix cars. Its supercharged straight 8 is a joy to hear!! Before setting up his own company many pre-war Alfas were run by Enzo Ferrari.
