Alfa Romeo 308C
1938 Alfa Romeo racing car seen at the 2004 Goodwood Revival
This is one of 170+ images of classic cars and aircraft that I took at the September 2004 Circuit Revival meeting at Goodwood, in Sussex.
[Index of Goodwood images]
The restored Alfa Romeo below was photographed over the 3 day weekend at Goodwood. This red 308C is a racing car of the type often seen at motor racing meets and events in years gone by, this particular Alfa Romeo racing car dating back to the 1938 era. Such cars
would have appeared in racing car races at motorsport meetings, such as those at Goodwood.
You'll find many more restored vehicles similar to this Alfa Romeo 308C elsewhere on Classic Wheels, just have a look at the left hand menu.
If you are a collector of Alfa Romeo 308C information, or are looking for parts for a 1938 Alfa Romeo, see the list of related memorabilia on sale today at the ebay auction site - click here

The picture below of a red 308C is photo #92 in this set of photographs taken at the 2004 Revival. You can read more about the event here: Goodwood review.
Further notes on this classic 308C:
A stunning pre-war Alfa Romeo Grand Prix car this one owned by Julian Majzub and features a 3.0 eight cylinder engine. This model was replaced by the Tipo 158 just before the commencement of WW2 which rather got in the way of racing.
